There was a time when I found this question to be rather offensive but having spoken to several of my gents, I learned of how they had been mislead in the past by certain 'Pakistani' and 'West Indian' ladies claiming to be Indian.
I assure you, I REALLY am Indian. How can I prove it? Easy. My mother tongue is Gujerati (you cant get any more Indian than that)
Although some languages are spoken in both India and Pakistan Gujerati is the official language of the Gujerat state in West India.
