Do i feel any different? Not at all. I've never had an issue with age. I'm the kind of lady whos so confortable with my age i add a year or two on rather than take a couple of years off!
So what did i do for my 40th?
I hired a shiny black sports car (convertible) and got together with some school friends 'up norf'
What a way to spend my Birthday! The weather was on my side so got to drive around for 3 days with the roof down before the weather started to get wet.
So what did i get up to? NO... not what youre thinking tsk tsk.
Day 1
Five of us head off shopping in Manchester followed by a Meal in one of my fave restaurants. I was made to wear a 'birthday girl' badge. They had our table decorated with balloons and sang 'happy bday' at the top of their lungs. We laughed so hard right the way through. A noisy bunch...wolfwhistled at anything that moved...disgraceful behaviour for 40yr olds. It was like being back in school Back to yorkshire around midnight
Day 2
I did a Thelma & Louise... well in our case it was Thelmajeet and Louisepreet. We ended up in Ingleton! Did the 4.5 miles waterfall walk (phew). It was just beautiful (and tiring). Off to windermere... sailing Took lots of photos... will show you next time i see you ;) Fell asleep soon as we got back in yorkshire. Too tired for dinner!
Day 3
Headed off to lancashire for a quick visit, laden with presents for everyone. I felt like Ms Clause. I do love spoiling them :)
Back to yorks around 3pm to pick up friends then off to Bradford... more shopping and dining.
Completely drained of energy by the time i got back in london
