I kissed a dummy and tried to jump start her heart! So here she is... meet Resusci Anne.
You guessed it... I completed the First Aid course today! It has to be done as part of my 'other' work.
Not a great start to the day though... Its raining cats and dogs... will it ever rain men? Get to the centre and they tell me class has been moved... ok fine i'll go there then... get there and they know nothing about this class. I just stand there looking blank (no surprises there then lol). By now 12 others have turned up. Turns out they had overbooked and had to find a room for us fast. We end up back at the other place. Having been moved pillar to post an hour and a half has passed. I'm worried. I've had to cancel this class a few times due to my other job (not escorting)
Not so keen on the rolling over and playing dead part though.
How things change. In the old days i remember Annie had a pulse. They've done away with it now... apparently checking for the carotid pulse is not realiable. Scary how things are so important one day, mean absolutely nothing the next.
So the tutor is doing the demo. He's quite a large gent. I try not to stare at the huge beer belly. I watched him very carefully but for all the wrong reasons. I kept expecting him to pass out. He was far to big to be bent over in that position trying to bring Anne back to life. He'd gone bright red and breathing very heavily. Poor fella!
I'm really enjoying this class. I feel at home... kissing dummies! LOL
Done and dusted and manage to get an extra certificate... Defibrillator one
By the time i get home, the sun is shining.
Decide to take a booking on short notice. He's our local fitness instructor! Luckily he doesnt know me.
I have a confession to make... he was UNDER 30.
I dont know what made me want to accept the date... something about him... I have no regrets. He was lovely. My laptop conks out half way through a porn clip! Ah well... laptop battery dead... mine still going!
So my blue eyed boy and contemplating on a 'deal' of sorts. It works for other girls... lets see if it works for me! I'll let you know if we do go through with it...
